Behind the Scenes

Great news, the factory has shipped the painted samples and we should have them in hand next week!
In addition to taking several photos that we can share with you, we'll be reviewing these and making any final notes so that we can pull the trigger on mass production! As soon as we do that we will have a finalized production schedule and we'll be able to extrapolate a more accurate timeline of when we will be able to start shipping these out.
Before we get to the behind the scenes pictures that the factory sent over, we thought that some of you may be interested in seeing a disassembled prototype. We did this while we were putting together our initial feedback:
Here are some photos from the factory showing paint being done by hand over the color injected parts:
And here are some images of the samurai armor being painted using a spray mask:
Thanks for reading, again this wouldn't have been possible without all of your support and we appreciate your patience as we make this line a reality... Be on the lookout for another update in the coming weeks!

For those of you who may not watch videos, frequent thefwoosh.com message boards, or follow us on Instagram, to address the most frequent question we get on a reoccurring basis: When are we getting our damn ninjas? The answer is still looking like the 4th quarter of this year. We do not have a finalized production schedule yet and will be sure to share it with you as soon as we do.
The reason we don't have a finalized production schedule yet? We are on a mission to make the best possible action figures that we can.
Shortly after San Diego Comic Con, the AI design team were sent first shots from the factory. To say that we were impressed with these initial injection molded prototypes of our line of action figures is the understatement of the century. Now as expected, there were some issues, but we sat down and compiled a list, took photographs, did overlays and sent it all back to the factory to make the minor revisions, tweaks and nitpicks that we came up with (and that some of you will likely notice in the pictures below).
Before we get to those pictures, let me also note that we added the string to the bow ourselves in the below images. I don't believe we will be able to include the string in production but it was a very easy thing to do (we simply bought some string from the string store and tied it to either end of the bow).
So, here are some pictures of the first shots, look for more updates in the coming weeks with news regarding packaging, painted samples and when we are finally getting these damn ninjas in our hands. Enjoy!
A Son's Promise - Shōken (heroic martial artist) FEATURE

My father's last words were “promise me.” And to ears that no longer heard this world's music, I made that promise.
I promised that I would take all that I learned from him, and make this land a better place. I promised that I would not disgrace the strength passed down through his blood into mine.
I promised my father that I would not waste what he had taught me. I promised that I would search out the evils of the world and bring them to justice.
I promised that I would be hard and cruel when the situation asked for it, but that I would always open my hand and heart when the need arose.
I promised that I would never forget the small child I once was, nor would I forget how it felt to be powerless.
I promised that I would be the strength that others might not have. I promised that I would be the answer to the cries for help that shattered serenity's embrace.
I promised my father that I would strive to leave peace in my footprints, if chaos blossomed there first. I promised him a legacy that would make him proud.
As a child I wished to be a hero. But as a man I have learned that heroism does not come from wishes. One cannot wish their way into fables.
I am not a hero.
I may never be a hero.
But I recognize evil when I see it.
And father, though I may not be a hero...
I promise I will try.

A single moment, suspended like a raindrop in crystalline clarity, before it splashes to the surface
Hold that moment indefinitely. Feel the pulse and rhythm of it as your senses reach out to scratch at the wall of the infinite.
Pluck that moment from its base. Make it a part of you. Become.
You are more than you. You are more. You are.
Surrender yourself to the universe and accept its gifts.
But there are still lessons to be learned as the days erode under your passage.
You have known great peace; now know great cruelty.
You have known great benevolence, now learn its opposite number.
Bring forth the demon that you may know its name.
Enlightenment is not a weapon, but knowledge is. Know your enemy.
See the darkness that boils in us all. To know evil is to know one's self.
When they deliver a thousand cuts you must deliver a thousand and one.
When they strike with a thousand fists, you must double their number.
You have been to the mountaintop, now you must wallow in the mud.
Mercy is not yours to give.
